A cleaner falls in love with an office worker and try to declare his undying love to her…

The goal of this exercise is to recreate the soundtrack from a « pre-existing » soundtrack (film, song, …). I chose the opening sequence of Samuel Benchetrit’s film « I’ve always wanted to be a gangster ». I tried to work on the different levels of reality that the character goes through (from fantasy to brutal reality) and to show the passage of these different states to the image (sudden change of colorimetry, movement, slow motion). The goal was to tell a story in 3 min and think the plans accordingly in terms of narrative meaning and efficiency.
